II-I-3. FLORA CORINNE SIBERT (1883 – 1959), daughter of David Wesley Sibert3 (George2, John David1)

Flora Corinne Sibert was born on 20 March 1883 in Georgia. [1][2] She died on 18 March 1959 in Wilkes County, Georgia. [2][3] She married Thomas Seals Darden on 25 April 1906 in Taliaferro County, Georgia. [4] Thomas was born on 3 March 1876. [5] He died on 25 September 1958 in Taliaferro County. [2] Thomas and Flora are buried together in the Sharon Methodist Church Cemetery in Sharon, Taliaferro County. [2]

According to her death notice, Flora Sibert Darden died at at Westminster hospital following a long illness. She was survived by her son P.[!] Nelson Darden of Atlanta. [6]

According to the census, on 2 June 1900, Flora Sibert, born in March 1883 in Georgia, lived with her sister Lillie's family in Waynesboro, Burke County, Georgia. [7]

On 3/4 May 1910, Seals T., aged 34, and Flora, aged 27, lived as boarders in Rayton, Taliaferro County. They were both born in Georgia. They had been married four years, and had had no children. Seals was a merchant. [7]

On 2/3 January 1920, Thomas S., aged 43, and Flora C., aged 36, lived in Sharon with their son Thos. N., aged seven and born in Georgia. Thomas was a farmer. On 2 April 1930, T. Seals, aged 54, and Flora C., aged 47, lived in Sharon with their son Nelson, aged 18. T. Seals was a farmer. [7]

On 3 April, Seals, aged 63, and Flora, aged 56, lived in Sharon. They were both high school graduates. on 24 April 1910, T. Seals, aged 74, and Flora, aged 67, lied in Sharon. T. Seals was a farm supervisor. [7]

Flora and Thomas appear to have no living descendants.

Children of Thomas Seals and Flora Corinne Sibert:

II-I-3-a. Thomas Nelson Darden was born on 12 April 1912 in Georgia. [2] He died on 19 April 1999, aged 87. [2][8] He married Hazel Saggus. [2][8] She was born on 8 February 1916 in Georgia. [2] She died on 13 June 2000. [2] Thomas and Hazel are buried together in the Sharon Methodist Church Cemetery. [2]

According to the census, in 1940, Thomas N., aged 27, and Hazel, aged 24, lived in Atlanta, Fulton County Georgia. They were both born in Georgia. Thomas was college graduate; Hazel was a high school graduate. Thomas was an electrical engineer. In 1950, Thos. N., aged 37, and Hazel, aged 34, lived in Atlanta. Thomas was an electrical engineer with an electricity company. [7]

According to his obituary, Thomas graduated from Emory University. He was employed by General Electric as an electrical engineer for 40 years. He was survived by his wife, Hazel Saggus Darden. [8]
